The project is currently owned by Enel.
Entracque – Chiotas is a pumped storage project. The gross head of the project is 1,048m. The project generated 1,040 GWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
Franco Tosi Meccanica was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 8 turbines, each with 147.5MW nameplate capacity.
The electric generators for the project were procured from Ansaldo Energia and Ercole Marelli Power.
