The project was developed by Coronal Energy and is currently owned by Capital Dynamics.
Essex Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 174 acres.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 5,000 households. The project cost is $38.232m.
The project consists of 88,000 modules, each with 310W nameplate capacity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in January 2018.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Virginia Electric and Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

McCarthy Building Companies was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Swinerton Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
