The project was developed by MOVER Participacoes. The AES, BNDES Participacoes and Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 45.32%, 9.91% and 7.56% respectively.

Euclides da Cunha is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 0.002 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 92m.

Contractors Involved

Voith Hydro Holding was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of francis turbines, each with 27.25MW nameplate capacity.
