T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q4 2019 with 82 tenders and a 30.4% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 63 tenders and a 23.3% share and Generation Equipment with 56 tenders and a 20.7% share during the quarter.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Electricity Supply: 19 tenders and an 86.4% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: three tenders and a 13.6% share.
Biopower is top technology for Europe electricity procurement tenders in Q4 2019
Looking at electricity procurement tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, biopower accounted for 11 tenders with a 34.4% share, followed by wind with eight tenders and a 25% share and solar with seven tenders and a 21.9% share.
