T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in December 2020 with 42 contracts and a 28.4% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 41 contracts and a 27.7% share and Power Plant with 19 contracts and a 12.8% share during the month.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 38 contracts and a 92.7% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and a 4.9% share
  3. Project Implementation: one contract and a 2.4% share.

Wind is top technology for Europe generation equipment contracts in December 2020

Looking at generation equipment contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for 28 contracts with a 68.3% share, followed by solar with five contracts and a 12.2% share and thermal with three contracts and a 7.3% share.
