Generation Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in March 2020 with 32 contracts and a 34.8% share, followed by Power Plant with 17 contracts and an 18.5% share and T&D Equipment with 14 contracts and a 15.2% share during the month.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 28 contracts and an 87.5% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and a 6.3% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: one contract and a 3.1% share
- Project Implementation: one contract and a 3.1% share.

Looking at generation equipment contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for 21 contracts with a 65.6% share, followed by nuclear with four contracts and a 12.5% share and thermal with three contracts and a 9.4% share.
