T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in June 2020 with 28 tenders and a 28.6% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 24 tenders and a 24.5% share and Power Plant with 18 tenders and an 18.4% share during the month.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 16 tenders and a 66.7% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: seven tenders and a 29.2% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: one tender and a 4.2% share.
Thermal is top technology for Europe generation equipment tenders in June 2020
Looking at generation equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, thermal accounted for 16 tenders with a 66.7% share, followed by hydro with four tenders and a 16.7% share and wind with two tenders and an 8.3% share.
