T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q4 2021 with 85 tenders and a 28.7% share, followed by Power Plant with 67 tenders and a 22.6% share and T&D Equipment with 48 tenders and a 16.2% share during the quarter.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 25 tenders and a 61% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 16 tenders and a 39% share.
Thermal is top technology for Europe generation equipment tenders in Q4 2021
Looking at generation equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, thermal accounted for 23 tenders with a 59% share, followed by solar with 11 tenders and a 28.2% share and wind with four tenders and a 10.3% share.
