The proportion of solar technology tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation with 19 tenders and a 52.8% share
- Supply & Erection: eight tenders and a 22.2% share
- Electricity Supply: four tenders and an 11.1% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: three tenders and an 8.3% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: two tenders and a 5.6% share.
Poland tops Europe solar power tenders activity
Poland was the top country in the Europe region for solar technology tenders recorded in Q4 2019 with eight tenders and a 22.2% share, followed by Germany with five tenders and a 13.9% share and the UK with five tenders and a 13.9% share.

Europe solar technology tenders in Q4 2019: Top companies by capacity
The top issuers of tenders for the quarter in terms of power capacity involved in Europe were:
- Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Turkey (Turkey): 1,000MW from one tender
- Elektrani na Makedonija (Macedonia): 110MW from one tender
- Bundesnetzagentur (Germany): 100MW capacity from one tender.
