Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in June 2020 with 76 contracts and a 39.4% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 43 contracts and a 22.3% share and Generation Equipment with 36 contracts and an 18.7% share during the month.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 41 contracts and a 95.3% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and a 4.7% share.

Wind is top technology for Europe T&D equipment contracts in June 2020

Looking at T&D equipment contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for three contracts with a 50% share, followed by solar with two contracts and a 33.3% share and biopower with one contract and a 16.7% share.
