T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q2 2020 with 70 tenders and a 24.1% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 64 tenders and a 22.1% share and Generation Equipment with 59 tenders and a 20.3% share during the quarter.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 52 tenders and a 74.3% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: 12 tenders and a 17.1% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: six tenders and an 8.6% share.
Thermal is top technology for Europe T&D project tenders in Q2 2020
Looking at T&D project tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, thermal accounted for one tender with a 50% share, followed by wind with one tender and a 50% share.
