Description
The project is developed and owned by China Everbright Environment Group. The company has a stake of 100%.
The project generates 195GWh electricity thereby offsetting 137,348t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $49.357m.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in September 2011.
Contractors Involved
Qingdao Jieneng Steam Turbine Group was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 1 unit of N30-8.83 Condensing Type Turbine turbine with 30MW nameplate capacity.
DP CleanTech China supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 130TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 540°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 9.2MPa.Shandong Jinan Power Equipment Factory supplied the electric generator for the project.
