The project is currently owned by B2Gold.
Fekola solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 27 hectares.
The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 39,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $38m.
The project consists of 92,000 modules.
