Ferreira do Alentejo Solar Farm is a ground-mounted solar project.
The project generates 83,200MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 41,000 households, offsetting 47,800t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $64.032m.
499 inverters have been installed at the project site.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in October 2020.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Holaluz Clidom under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2020.
Contractors Involved
Suntech Power Holdings was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 125,000 modules at the site.
WiNRG is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2020.
