Finley Solar PV Park is a 175MW solar PV power project. It is located in New South Wales, Australia. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in November 2019.

Description

The project was developed by ESCO Pacific and is currently owned by John Laing Group with a stake of 100%.

Finley Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 385 hectares.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 60,000 households, offsetting 400,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $132.726m.

The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in November 2019.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to BlueScope Steel under a power purchase agreement for a period of 7 years. The contracted capacity is 88MW.

Contractors Involved

Canadian Solar and Signal Energy Australia were selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 490,000 modules at the site.

Signal Energy Australia is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2019.
