Description

The project was developed by BP Wind Energy North America, Dominion Energy and Sempra Energy. American Electric Power and BP Wind Energy North America are currently owning the project.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in March 2009.

Power Purchase Agreement

Appalachian Power, Dominion Energy, Indiana Michigan Power and Vectren are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors Involved

M. A. Mortenson was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Fowler Ridge (Fowler Ridge 1A) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V82-1.65 MW turbines. The phase consists of 122 turbines with 1.65MW nameplate capacity.

Fowler Ridge (Fowler Ridge 1B) is equipped with Clipper Windpower Liberty C96 turbines. The phase consists of 40 turbines with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.

Fowler Ridge (Fowler Ridge 2) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 1.5-77 turbines. The phase consists of 133 turbines with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

Fowler Ridge (Fowler Ridge 3) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V82-1.65 MW turbines. The phase consists of 60 turbines with 1.65MW nameplate capacity.

About BP Wind Energy North America
