Description
The project was developed by Enersis II SGPS and Iberwind II Producao. The project is currently owned by Iberwind II Producao.
The project generates 27,199MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 5,667 households.
The Freita (Freita Phase I), has 80m high towers.

The power generated from the project is sold to Redes Energeticas Nacionais under a power purchase agreement.

Nordex was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 16 units of N90 (2.3 MW) turbines, each with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
