Description

The project was developed by Fujian Sanchuan Offshore Wind Power. Fujian Funeng New Energy, Strait Power Generation and Xiamen Huaxia International Power Development are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51%, 39% and 10% respectively.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.

The project generates 650,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 400,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $568.68m.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in April 2020.

Contractors Involved

Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 29 units of SWT 7.0-154 turbines, each with 7MW nameplate capacity.
