Fujian Putian Shicheng Fishing Offshore Wind Farm is a 200MW offshore wind power project. The project is located in Xinghua Bay, Fujian, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in July 2021.

Description

The project was developed by Fujian Sanchuan Offshore Wind Power. Fujian Funeng New Energy, Strait Power Generation and Xiamen Huaxia International Power Development are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51%, 39% and 10% respectively.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.

The project generates 620,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 400,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $534.668m.

Fujian Putian Shicheng Fishing Offshore Wind Farm (Fujian Putian Shicheng Fishing Offshore Wind Farm Phase II) consists of 3 turbines with 6MW nameplate capacity.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in July 2021.

Contractors Involved

Fujian Putian Shicheng Fishing Offshore Wind Farm (Fujian Putian Shicheng Fishing Offshore Wind Farm Phase I) is equipped with Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment turbines. The phase consists of 26 turbines, each with 7MW nameplate capacity.
