Fujian Zhangpu Liu’ao (Fujian Zhangpu Liu’ao I) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy G52-850 kW turbines. The phase consists of 36 turbines with 0.85MW nameplate capacity.

About Datang Zhangzhou Wind Power

Datang Zhangzhou Wind Power Co., Ltd. (Datang Zhangzhou) is principally engaged in the generation of wind power. It is the investor, constructor, operator, and owner of the Fujian Zhangpu Liuao 30.6 MW wind power project, located in Liuao town, Zhangpu County in Fujian Province. It has installed 36 turbines, each of which has a rated output of 850 kW, providing a total capacity of 30.6 MW. The project activity is expected to generate a total estimated amount of emission reductions 1,086,897 tons CO2.

The company plans to install 903.0 MW turbines procured from Denmark Vestas in the two phases. In the first phase, the wind farm shall install 30-50 MW capacity. The installation is laid out by two rows with seven turbines each covering an area of about 3 sq. km. The first phase is planned for two years starting in 2009 and in operation in 2010. In second phase the installed capacity is estimated to reach to 300-400 MW. The company has started wind measuring at Liuao peninsula and the estimated investment of 8 billion RMB Yuan.
