Gani Sakunala – NTPC NSM Phase II Solar PV Park – 1 is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 700,000 households. The project cost is $277.921m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in March 2017.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.069kWh for a period of 25 years, starting from 2017. The contracted capacity is 350MW.

Contractors Involved

Trina Solar was selected as the supplier of PV modules for the project.
