Description
The project is developed and owned by Gansu Guazhou Xiehe Wind Power.
The project generates 443,278MWh electricity thereby offsetting 411,927t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $250.8m.
Development Status
The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in March 2011.
Contractors Involved
Sinovel Wind Group was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 134 units of SL1500/82 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
