Gansu Yumen Changma No.3 Wind Farm Project is a 201MW onshore wind power project. It is located in Gansu, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in November 2010.

Description

The project was developed by CECIC Wind-power (Gansu). China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group and China Renewable Energy Investment are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.

The project generates 455,500MWh electricity thereby offsetting 430,924t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $294.83m.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in November 2010.

Contractors Involved

Dongfang Electric was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 134 units of FD77A-1500 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
