Gaosha is a 50MW hydro power project. It is located on Shaxi river/basin in Fujian, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1995.

Chongqing Water Turbine Works was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of tubular turbines, each with 12.5MW nameplate capacity.
Chongqing Water Turbine Works supplied 4 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 12.5 MVA.
