Description

The project is currently owned by Lightstone Generation with a stake of 100%.

It is a steam turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is bituminous. In case of shortage of bituminous the plant can also run on Subbituminous.

The project generated 14,694,965MWh of electricity.

General James M. Gavin Power Plant (General James M. Gavin Power Plant Unit I) is equipped with GE Power steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 1,300MW nameplate capacity.

General James M. Gavin Power Plant (General James M. Gavin Power Plant Unit II) is equipped with GE Power gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 1,300MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power supplied electric generator for the General James M. Gavin Power Plant (General James M. Gavin Power Plant Unit I).

GE Power supplied electric generator for the General James M. Gavin Power Plant (General James M. Gavin Power Plant Unit II).

Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises supplied steam boiler for the project.
