Gentse Warmte Centrale Biomass Power Plant is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Wood waste which is a kind of wood by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Elecnor is expected to render EPC services for the biopower project.

Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the project for a period of 15 years.
