The project is being developed by Belgian Eco Energy. Belgian Eco Energy and Equitix are currently owning the project.
The project cost is expected to be around $92.119m.
Gentse Warmte Centrale Biomass Power Plant is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Wood waste which is a kind of wood by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development Status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2022.
Contractors Involved
Elecnor is expected to render EPC services for the biopower project.
Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the project for a period of 15 years.
