Description

The project is co-owned by Cate Street Capital, Gestamp Biomass and Starwood Energy Group Global, with their respective ownership stake of 33% each.

The project generates 550GWh electricity thereby offsetting 450,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $224.369m.

Gestamp Biomass S.L. Power Plant is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Forest residue which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
