Looking at global power contracts activity divided by the type of technology, solar held the top position in terms of number of contracts during November 2021 with a 49.6% share.
The proportion of contracts by category in the Solar technology tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Power Purchase Agreement: 48 contracts and a 37.8% share
- Project Implementation: 45 contracts and a 35.4% share
- Supply & Erection: 25 contracts and a 19.7% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: six contracts and a 4.7% share
- Electricity Supply: two contracts and a 1.6% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one contract and a 0.8% share.

By GlobalDataComparing contracts activity in solar technology in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 60 contracts and a share of 47.2% during November 2021, followed by North America with 35 contracts and a 27.6% share and Europe with 14 contracts and an 11% share.
In fourth place was Middle East and Africa with 14 contracts and an 11% share and in fifth place was South and Central America with four contracts and a 3.1% share.
