The project was developed by Dominion Energy and Strata Solar. The project is currently owned by Virginia Electric and Power with a stake of 100%.
Gloucester Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 200 acres.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 5,000 households. The project cost is $30m.
The project consists of 80,724 modules.

The project got commissioned in April 2019.

The power generated from the project is sold to Meta Platforms under a power purchase agreement.
