Description
Hera and Falck Renewables are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
The project generates 130GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Municipal solid waste is used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project got commissioned in December 2005.
