The project was developed by Northland Power. Northland Power, Aamjiwnaang First Nation and Bkejwanong First Nation are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50%, 25% and 25% respectively.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
Amec Black & McDonald, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and Wood Canada were selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 40 units of SWT-3.2-113 turbines, each with 2.483MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 10 years.
