Description

The project is currently owned by PT. Indonesia Power with a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on High Speed Diesel. The fuel is procured from Santos Ltd (Oyong and Wortel Fields).

Development Status

The project got commissioned in 1996.

Contractors Involved

Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 3 units of M701D gas turbines, each with 100.75MW nameplate capacity.

Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 unit of TC2F-33.5 steam turbine with 159.58MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens supplied electric generator for the project.

John Cockerill Group supplied steam boiler for the project.
