Description

The project was developed by Chevron Australia, Chubu Electric Power, ExxonMobil Australia, Osaka Gas Australia, Shell Development (Australia) and Tokyo Gas Australia. Chevron Australia, ExxonMobil Australia, Shell Energy Australia, Osaka Gas Australia, Tokyo Gas Australia and JERA are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 47.33%, 25%, 25%, 1.25%, 1% and 0.42% respectively.

It is a Gas Turbine power plant.

The project got commissioned in April 2015.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 5 units of Frame 9 turbines, each with 116.9MW nameplate capacity.
