The project is co-owned by Calpine and Mitsui, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 1,005MW.
Contractors Involved
The Gas fired project have been supplied by Siemens and Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions.
The electric generators for the project were procured from Siemens Energy and Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions.
Hamon Deltak supplied steam boiler for the project.
Ethosenergy (GBR) is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
