City of Hamilton and American Municipal Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51.4% and 48.6% respectively.
Greenup Hydro is a run-of-river project. The project generated 282 GWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of kaplan turbines, each with 23.4MW nameplate capacity.
