Description
The project was developed by Lintran do Brasil Participacoes and Solatio Energia. BNDES Participacoes and The AES are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 28% and 24% respectively.
Guaimbe 5 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.
The project generates 51,719.4MWh of electricity. The project cost is $44.64m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in April 2018.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Camara de Comercializacao de Energia Eletrica under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years, starting from 2018.
Contractors Involved
BYD was selected as the supplier of PV modules for the project.
