Description

The project was developed by Canadian Solar, Global Power Generation, Sindustrial Engenharia and Solatio Energia. The project is currently owned by Global Power Generation with a stake of 100%.

Guimarania 1 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project generates 71,881.2MWh of electricity. The project cost is $44.414m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in December 2018.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Camara de Comercializacao de Energia Eletrica under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.119kWh for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 30MW.

Contractors Involved

Biosar Energy was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company supplied modules with rated capacity of 350W.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Soltec Energias Renovables.

Soltec Energias Renovables is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
