Haapavesi – Siikalatva Line is a 400kV overhead line with a length of 58km from Haapavesi, Ostrobothnia, Finland, to Siikalatva, Ostrobothnia, Finland.
The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2022.
Description
Haapavesi – Siikalatva Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Fingrid. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.
Approximately $12m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.
The development of the Haapavesi – Siikalatva Line project has been approved by the Energy Authority, Finland.
