Description
The project is currently owned by VERBUND Hydro Power with a stake of 100%.
Haeusling is a pumped storage project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 86.7 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 734m. Haeusling underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2019-2020. The project generated 188,676 MWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 180MW nameplate capacity.
