The project was developed by Hanwha Q Cells USA and is currently owned by 174 Power Global.

Hanwha Pecos Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 1,500 acres.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households. The project cost is $260m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Austin Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 178MW.

Contractors Involved

Hanwha Q Cells USA was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Hanwha Q CELLS was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 685,000 modules each with 345W of nameplate capacity.
