Haripur Combined Cycle Power Plant is a 360MW gas fired power project. It is located in Barisal, Bangladesh. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in December 2001.

Description

The project is currently owned by China Southern Power Grid with a stake of 20.35% and China General Nuclear Power.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company.

The project cost is $180m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in December 2001.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Bangladesh Power Development Board under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Hyundai Engineering & Construction was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

The Gas fired project have been supplied by Fuji Electric and Mitsubishi Power.

Mitsubishi Power supplied electric generator for the project.

Mitsubishi Power supplied electric generator for the project.

Siemens Heat Transfer Technology supplied steam boiler for the project.
