Harjavalta is a 105MW hydro power project. It is located on Kokemaenjoki river/basin in Satakunta, Finland. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 1937 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1939.

Development Status

Contractors Involved

Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 1 unit of kaplan turbine with 20MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy supplied 1 electric generator for the project. The generator capacity is 25 MVA.
