Description
The project is currently owned by New Harquahala Generating with a stake of 100%.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel is procured from El Paso Natural Gas Pipeline.
The project generated 1,313,364MWh of electricity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in June 2004.
Contractors Involved
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 3 steam turbines, each with 160MW nameplate capacity.
