The project is currently owned by Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution.
Hasdeo Bango is a reservoir based project. The gross head and net head of the project are 67.76m and 53m respectively. The project generated 305.33 GWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
Bharat Heavy Electricals was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of francis turbines, each with 40MW nameplate capacity.
