Hawa Akkar Wind Farm is a 67.2MW onshore wind power project. It is planned in North, Lebanon. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2022.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 100,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $117.476m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Ministry of Energy and Water, Lebanon under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Vestas Wind Systems will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 16 turbines, each with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.
