Description
The project is currently owned by Guodian Technology & Environment Group.
The project generates 124GWh electricity thereby offsetting 183,692t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Heilongjiang Tangyuan Biomass Power Plant is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Maize straw which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 2 turbines, each with 12MW nameplate capacity.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Northeast China Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.
