The project was developed by Catavento Producao de Energia Eolica and is currently owned by GE Energy Financial Services with a stake of 100%.
Hercules Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 60 hectares.
The project generates 21,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 8,000 households. The project cost is $82.09m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in March 2007.
Contractors Involved
SunPower was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
The solar PV modules for the project were supplied by Sanyo Electric, Sharp Electronics, SunPower and Wuxi Suntech Power.
SunPower is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2009.
