Description
The project is currently owned by Tampa Electric.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Peakload. The fuel is procured from Florida Gas Transmission Gulf Stream.
The project generated 30,041MWh of electricity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in April 2009.
Contractors Involved
Mitsubishi Power Aero was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 4 units of FT8-3 SwiftPac turbines, each with 69.9MW nameplate capacity.
Mitsubishi Power Aero supplied electric generator for the project.
