Description

The project was developed by OX2 and is currently owned by Aquila Capital Concepts with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 250GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households, offsetting 195,200t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project has 142m high towers.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Axpo Nordic under a power purchase agreement from 2019. The contracted capacity is 64.8MW.

Contractors involved

OX2 and Vestas Wind Systems were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 18 units of V126-3.45MW turbines, each with 3.6MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 10 years.
