The project is co-owned by Hoosier Energy Rural Electric Cooperative and Wabash Valley Power Association, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America.
